Liam O'Grady is a singer and "long-neck" 5 string banjo player. While growing up in Ireland, Liam developed a passion for folk music at a young age and began playing the banjo in his early teens. In addition to his music career, Liam also works as a software engineer in London. Despite his busy schedule, Liam continues to pursue his love of music and enjoys touring with The Kings of Connaught. He is passionate about both his music and his work in tech and strives to find a balance between the two in his daily life.
Mark is a vocalist and guitarist with the group. His interest in folk music was ignited at the young age of twelve, when he first heard a recording of Luke Kelly after a local singing session. Since then, Mark has been captivated by all things folk music, and he remains dedicated to broadening his repertoire of folk songs and ballads. The

Since then, Mark has been captivated by all things folk music, and he remains dedicated to broadening his repertoire of folk songs and ballads. The group was his first foray into live performance, and since then, Mark also enjoys performing locally with different bands or as a solo act. When not performing onstage, you can find him chasing up homework in the classroom.
Thomas comes from a small village called Moylough, in Co. Galway. He first began playing music, as most in Ireland do – by taking up tin whistle lessons in primary school. He was tutored by well-known, local traditional musician, Matt Cunningham. Thomas also plays guitar & harmonica with the band and performs regularly with various music

He has established himself as a soulful performer, captivating audiences with his powerful instrumentation. When not playing music, he can be found pursuing a career as a biomedical engineer!
